After you submit your completed application packet, the membership committee or club secretary will initiate a Criminal Background Investigation. Once we receive your background check results, the Membership Committee will review your application and, if approved, present it to the Board for final approval. Upon board approval, we’ll be excited to officially welcome you as a new member of the Kiwanis Club of Abilene!
🔨 Service in Action: Ramp Build Week! From modules to completion, your Abilene Kiwanians have been hard at work last week! On Thursday, our crew kicked things off in the workshop, measuring, cutting, and assembling the core ramp modules. When Saturday rolled around, it was time to put the pieces together on-site—and the final product turned out fantastic!
A huge shoutout to the dedicated team who made it happen: Bill Hoogstra, Dave Nickel, Guinn Smith, and Elizabeth Clinton Gray .
We love serving our Abilene community and helping neighbors regain their independence, one step (and one ramp) at a time. ❤️
Thank you to all the volunteers, Kiwanians, and patrons who made this year's Pancake Day the best on yet! We are proud to announce we broke all previous fundraising records this year! During our 105th Kiwanis Anniversary year, we raised $105,036.16!!! We can't wait to put those funds back into our community and can't wait to see yall next year on Saturday, March 20th! ...
