Completed New Member Application Form
Completed Criminal Background Form
Completed Debit Authorization Form for monthly dues
Completed Meal Plan Form
$35 for the Induction Fee
After you submit your completed application packet, the membership committee or club secretary will initiate a Criminal Background Investigation. This step is a standard requirement for all Kiwanis members in our Texas-Oklahoma District. The process is straightforward, and results are usually received within a week to 10 days.
Once we receive your background check results, the Membership Committee will review your application and, if approved, present it to the Board for final approval. Upon board approval, we’ll be excited to officially welcome you as a new member of the Kiwanis Club of Abilene!
Yesterday, Sam Nichols provided an update on the Basketball Smiles Camp held in the Caribbean this summer. More than 12,000 children have attended these summer camps over the past 26 years. He communicated that our club's donation provided ice and water this year. He shared a wonderful video highlighting some of the students who participated, thanked club members for the continued support, and presented the club with a terrific banner signed by so many of the 225 campers who attended. ... Congratulations to three-time Big Country Spelling Bee Champion, Sariah Titus! Sariah, now an 8th grader at Wylie Middle School, recently shared her experiences at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. with our club.
